Green Roof Inn is a small family run hotel located only 50 yards from the sea on the island of Carriacou, 20 minutes off Grenada. The ocean front hotel has five charming guest rooms with sea views in the main building, an internationally renowned restaurant on the upstairs veranda encompassing marvellous sunsets and panoramic ocean views and two private cottages nestled in the lush garden.

All six accommodations are individually designed and have access to a verandah with ocean views. All rooms have private bathroom, fans, mosquito nets and Hot/cold water.

Double Garden view has a private wooden deck partly facing the sea and the garden with the fruit trees and flowers. The room has en suite bathroom and is furnished with a queen size bed.
Double Sea view no 1 has a veranda facing the sea with fantastic ocean views and sunsets. The room has en suite bathroom and is furnished with twin beds, 180 cm together or two 90cm single beds if pulled apart.
Double Sea view no 2 share the same veranda as room no 1, facing the sea with fantastic ocean views and sunsets. The room has en suite bathroom and is furnished with twin beds, 180 cm together or two 90cm single beds if pulled apart.

The triple suite is made up by two rooms, a double and a single with en suit bathroom and a veranda facing the sea. The double room has twin beds, 180 cm together or two 90 cm single beds if pulled apart. The single room has a double bed 140 cm. This is the ultimate room for couples who want some extra space or a family.
The triple is also equiped with a fridge and kettle.

The Upstairs Suite is located on the second floor with fabulous ocean views and a private balcony. The room is equipped with a King size bed a fridge and kettle and in the entrance room there is also a single bed making it a possible triple.

All accommodations have fans, mosquito nets and hot/cold water in the en suite bathrooms.

The Cottage is a romantic, selfcontained unit nestled in the lush garden with flowers and fruit trees protecting the privacy on the veranda overlooking the ocean.
Equiped with a queen size bed, kitchenette, en suite bathroom and a private veranda the cottage is ideal for longer stays or those longing for total independance and privacy.

The Bungalow is also a romantic, selfcontained unit nestled in the lush garden bellow the inn, with flowers and fruit trees protecting its privacy. Furnished with a King size bed, the Bungalow is slightly larger than the Cottage.
Equipped with fridge and kettle, en suite bathroom and private ocean view veranda. The souterrain design of the Bungalow gives it a natural cool from the ground around. Daily maid service.

The Restaurant & Bar at the Green Roof Inn is located on the upstairs veranda over looking the ocean with a panoramic view of Hillsborough Bay and the off shore cays.
Our circular bar that centers the restaurant serves exotic cocktail sundowners and the sunsets are quite extra ordinary from Green Roof Inn with green flash more usual than not.
Most popular cocktail is our Carriacou Dash with hints of passion fruit, coconut and rum.
Our kitchen is international with predominantly sea food on the menu.
Characteristic for Green Roof Inn Restaurant is the Scandinavian twist on local produce resulting in creations as the smoked lobster, gravlax baracuda, pickled dorado, sun dried bonito, cured beef tenderloin etc. We put pride in striving towards sustainable tourism and this reflects on our choice of produce in the restaurant. As little imports as possible, thank God we are on an island with an abundance of fresh fish and lobster! We also use local organic beef from happy free range animals where both taste quality exceeds anything imported.
Even though we try to limit our imported goods we do make an effort to have an extensive wine list with high quality wines to acompany our dishes.

We strive to provide personal comfort for our guests while bringing the genuine Caribbean experience. We make an effort to reduce our impact on the environment while supporting the local economy and our core values governs the implementation of business ethics in par with fair travel policies, this being the base for our interpretation of
Sustainable and Responsible Tourism.

Carriacou is the largest in the chain of small islands that runs from St. Vincent to Grenada called the Grenadines, an Eldorado for sailing, diving, snorkelling and exploring unspoiled sandy beaches. Communications from Grenada mainland, are swift using the Osprey lines ferry or SVG-Air flights.
Carriacou is the island where you can wind down and seize time while chatting away with friendly locals, see the still active traditional boat building or hike the scenic roads and walking trails of the hillsides.
Like in no other island you can find and enjoy peaceful deserted beaches, explore the magnificent off shore cays or scuba dive to discover the wonders of the underwater world. The extensive coral reef that surrounds Carriacou makes this destination a divers paradise. It is also known as the gate way to the Tobago Cays where snorkelling with turtles in the turquoise waters is an unforgettable experience.
